Students Speak: It’s Not About How Quick You Finish

Here at SMARTS we always love to hear stories of students who have learned to take a strategic approach to their schoolwork. Teaching executive function strategies may not always be easy, but when you hear a student say, “I used to approach my work with the sooner I get this done, the sooner I can be done with and move on. My now approach is it’s not about how quick you finish it, it’s about how thorough you finish it.” Well said!
