From of all of us here on the SMARTS Executive Function team, we wish you a happy and safe holiday! Summer is a great time to do some resting and relaxing, as well as choose personally meaningful goals and activities that are fulfilling for ourselves and our students.
As educators begin to contemplate the new school year, we hope you will find ways to incorporate executive function into your work.
SMARTS has a range of executive function materials and professional development that any teacher can use to fill out their executive function toolkit. In addition to our Secondary Executive Function curriculum for grades 6-12, we are excited to launch our new Elementary Curriculum in August. We will also be hosting a two-day Executive Function Workshop on August 9th and 10th, where educators will learn theory, research, and practical strategies for teaching executive function strategies to learners of all ages and ability levels.
