Besides being appointed Chief of Staff to Mayor Marty Walsh, City of Boston, in January, 2014, Daniel Koh has earned two degrees from Harvard and served as an intern to Senator Ted Kennedy. What’s more, Daniel has ADHD. Growing up with ADHD was a challenge for Daniel, as it is for many students, but he was able to turn it into an asset as he worked his way through college and into politics.
Daniel wasn’t the only one sharing stories of perseverance and persistence. A panel of students who have participated in ResearchILD’s SMARTS Executive Function and Mentoring Program talked about how they transformed their lives through mentoring and executive function strategy use.
